Working one - one with me
Online Counselling & Coaching
Making sense of your emotions is one thing.
Responding differently when they arise is another.
Many people come to me after years of trying to understand themselves. They've read books, listened to podcasts, watched videos and perhaps even had counselling before.
They know what they should do.
Yet when life becomes difficult, the same emotional reactions still take over.
Arguments repeat.
Anger returns.
Anxiety builds.
Relationships become strained.
The same patterns continue despite their best intentions.
If that sounds familiar, you're not alone.
How I Can Help
I provide confidential online counselling and coaching for adults throughout the UK and internationally.
Whether you're struggling with anger, anxiety, relationship difficulties, stress or recurring emotional patterns, our work together is focused on helping you understand what is happening beneath those reactions and develop new ways of responding.
The aim isn't simply to help you cope.
It's to help you develop greater awareness, emotional resilience and lasting change.
Areas I Commonly Help With
I regularly work with people who want support with:
- Anger management.
- Anxiety and emotional overwhelm.
- Relationship conflict.
- Communication difficulties.
- Stress and burnout.
- Low self-esteem and self-criticism.
- Repetitive emotional patterns.
- Feeling stuck despite understanding the problem.
Many of these difficulties appear very different on the surface, yet often share similar emotional processes underneath.
Recognising those patterns is an important part of creating lasting change.
My Approach
My counselling is practical, supportive and tailored to your individual circumstances.
Rather than simply talking about problems, we work together to understand how emotional reactions develop, what keeps them repeating, and how greater awareness can create more choice in the moment.
Over more than twenty years of counselling, I developed the RIPP framework to help explain these recurring emotional patterns in a simple and accessible way.
You don't need to study the model before working with me.
I introduce ideas only when they are relevant to you and your situation.
The focus is always on helping you move towards a calmer, more resourceful and fulfilling life.
Counselling or Coaching?
Depending on your goals, our work may involve counselling, coaching or a combination of both.
Counselling provides space to explore emotional difficulties, recurring patterns and personal challenges with greater depth and understanding.
Coaching focuses more on helping you move towards specific goals, develop practical strategies and build confidence in making meaningful changes.
Whichever approach we use, it will always be tailored to your individual needs rather than following a fixed programme.
Online Sessions
All sessions are held online, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
Online counselling has become an effective and convenient way for many people to receive professional support without the need to travel.
All sessions are confidential and conducted in a safe, respectful and professional environment.
A Professional Relationship
Reading this website or my book, The End of RIPP, does not create a counselling relationship.
A professional counselling or coaching relationship begins only when we both agree to work together, discuss your goals, and establish informed consent.
This ensures that our work is clear, ethical and focused on what is right for you.
Book a free 15-minute consultation
If you'd like to explore whether my approach is right for you, I offer a free 15-minute consultation.
We'll discuss what's been happening, what you'd like to change, and whether I believe I can help.
If I don't think I'm the right person for you, I'll tell you honestly.
